INTEGRATIVE Psychiatric Sessions & Medication Management

Integrative Mental Health care is a personalized approach to mental health that weaves together conventional and evidence-based integrative modalities. Prior to meeting I will review your history and during that first session we will co-create a treatment plan that honors your preferences, readiness to make changes, and that works best for your life. My approach is to use the minimum amount of medication necessary to adjunct other integrative resources. Sessions are offered locally in Nashville or via tele-medicine software online.

  • Trauma

  • Stressors & Sleep concerns

SAFE + SOUND PROTOCOL

Now more than ever, the world is moving quickly and filled with uncertainty. This protocol is helpful for parents, professionals, kids, (really all humans) who struggle with staying regulated as stressors pile up.

If you struggle with any of the following, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) may be for you:

  • Social, emotional and attachment disorders

  • Auditory hypersensitivity

  • Nervous system dysregulation

  • Learning, cognition and attention difficulty

  • Sensory processing differences

  • Stress-related physical conditions

The Safe and Sound Protocol was developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, based on his Polyvagal Theory. The SSP was designed to help reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience. The SSP is a 5-hour sound-based (auditory) intervention created for calming the nervous system and helping to regulate emotional states.

Like therapeutic coaching, the SSP can boost or accelerate other therapies such as counseling, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
